We know health doesn’t start and end in the doctor’s surgery. Our healthcare encompasses physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.

Your donation will go towards our Community Crisis Fund which provides support for funerals, food security and financial hardship.

Your support means that we don’t need to dip into our operating budget to provide this additional help to our people.

Why your donation matters

Since we were founded in 1975 we have been dedicated to advancing the wellbeing of our community. The life expectancy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is still far too low, and the incidence of chronic conditions is too high.

How can someone be expected to manage their health if they’re struggling to put food in the fridge?

How can we ask mum to bring their bub to the clinic if they can’t afford to put petrol in their car?

Our Community Crisis Fund allows us to support our people in difficult times, so that we can improve their situation and focus on our core business; culturally-appropriate healthcare.
